I recently took part in this year’s Pictoplasma Festival (April 10-15) in Berlin. Pictoplasma is the world’s leading character art & design conference and festival, and features lectures by key artists in the field, as well as music, screenings, exhibitions and parties across the city. My sculptural work was featured in a solo exhibition at Retramp Gallery in the Neukölln district from 10 -14 April, as part of Pictoplasma’s Character Walk. I was in Berlin from 8 April to 17 April to attend the conference and meet the other amazing artists involved in this year’s festival. Thanks very much to Verity Oberg at Retramp Gallery and Danielle at Pictoplasma for their support of my work. Thanks also to Canada Council for the Arts for generously funding the sculptures in this exhibition.
